Ein nod yw darparu gofal o ansawdd ar gyfer plant o 3-11 oed oddi allan i oriau ysgol sydd hefyd yn fforddiadwy ac o fewn cyrraedd. Ein gobaith yw y gall ein gwasanaeth gefnogi teuluoedd sy’n gweithio a’r rheini sydd mewn addysg neu’n derbyn hyfforddiant. Rydym hefyd yn anelu at ddarparu rhaglen adloniadol ac addysgol ysgogol yn cynnwys chwarae o ansawdd ar gyfer plant.

Ein Datganiad

Polisi Mynediad

Mae’r clwb ar ôl ysgol yn agored i unrhyw blentyn sy’n mynychu Ysgol Y Garnedd yn unig. Ni wahaniaethir yn erbyn unrhyw blentyn ar sail hîl, lliw croen, tarddiad ethnig na chenedl, credoau crefyddol, anabledd na’r gallu i dalu.

Er mwyn sicrhau y dyrennir lleoedd yn deg:

Rhoddir blaenoriaeth i blant rhieni sy’n gweithio/rhieni sengl sy’n gweithio, rhieni sy’n astudio, neu sy’n hyfforddi i ail-ymuno â’r gweithlu.
Yna, rhoddir lleoedd i blant sy’n archebu lle ar gyfer pob dydd o’r wythnos.

Os yw nifer y lleoedd yn gyfyngedig, bydd brodyr a chwiorydd plant sydd eisoes yn y clwb yn cael blaenoriaeth. Tra bod lleoedd ar gael, dyrennir y rhain ar sail y cyntaf i’r felin. Os oes gormod o blant eisiau lle yn y clwb, bydd yr ysgrifenyddes yn cadw ac yn gweinyddu rhestr aros.

Mae’n rhaid archebu lleoedd ymlaen llaw er mwyn sicrhau lle a rhaid talu ffioedd wrth archebu. Ni ellir rhoi ad-daliad ac eithrio o dan amgylchiadau eithriadol, a bennir gan y rheolwyr.

Mae hawl gan y pwyllgor rheoli wrthod rhoi mynediad i unrhyw blentyn y bernir nad yw ei ymddygiad er lles iechyd a diogelwch y plant eraill. (Ni chymer y camau hynny ond pan fo ein gweithdrefnau cytunedig ar gyfer delio â phroblemau ymddygiad wedi eu gweithredu).

I weld ein Polisi Mynediad, gweler y llawlyfr llawn ar gyfer rhieni.

Lunch time Club

Admissions Policy

The lunchtime club is open to any child attending Ysgol Y Garnedd and the Cylch Meithrin. No child shall receive less favourable treatment on the grounds of race, colour, ethnic or national origin, religious beliefs, disability or the ability to pay.

To ensure fairness in the allocation of places, the following criteria will be taken into consideration:

First priority will be given to children of working parents/single working parents, parents who are studying or training to re-enter the workforce. Then places will be given to children who are booking for every day of the week.

If places are limited, siblings of children already at the club will have priority over others. While available places exist these will be allocated on a first come - first offer basis. If the club is oversubscribed a waiting list will be kept and administered by the secretary.

Places must be reserved in advance. In order to secure placements fees must be paid when making the reservation. This is not refundable except in exceptional circumstances, of which will be considered by the management.

The management committee reserves the right to refuse admission to any child whose behaviour is, in our opinion, not in the best interest of the other children’s health and safety. This course of action would only be implemented once our agreed procedures for tackling behaviour problems have been exhausted.

For our full Admissions Policy please see the full parent handbook.

We are a fully bilingual service and offer activities through the medium of both Welsh and English.

Staff
As we are registered with the CSIW we adhere to the national minimum standards for staff operating a childcare service including the 1:8 child adult ratio. The playleaders hold or are working towards a relevant level three qualification. 50% of the rest of the staff will also hold a relevant level 2 qualification. We will also ensure that the staff body will include those holding current first aid and food hygiene qualifications. Training is made available to our staff and personal development is actively encouraged.

Activities
Children are collected from the school by the playworkers who wear the club uniform. Each day on arrival at the club children will be given a drink and a register is taken. They are then given relaxation time and activities are available should the children wish to take part. Lunch is to be provided by parents. There is a yearly trip and an opportunity to make friends in a happy and safe environment. All this takes part on the school premises. Children are then escorted back to either the school or the Meithrin or parents pick them up.
